Medical dermatology - assessment, investigation, treatment and follow up for all common dermatological problems within the GP dermatology scope of practice (excludes biologic treatments at the present time).
Procedures
Procedures – punch biopsy, incisional biopsy, excisional biopsy, wide local excisions of skin cancers in low risk areas (face excluded), shave biopsy, curettage and cautery, liquid nitrogen.
Referrals
Referrals – appropriate referrals to plastic surgery, FRCP dermatology and skin cancer oncology will be arranged when required if requested by the referring physician.
